In the newly designed Lakewood Flooring boutique showroom on Canberra’s Kingston Foreshore, Paul Tilse Architects has used its featured product to create sophisticated and playful timber displays such as ceiling battens and fused geometric window boxes. Then, as a clever contrast to the timber forms, a central point-of-sale counter created from Fibonacci's Moon Garden slabs provides a spectacular yet almost ‘neutral’ base from which the timber grains can be examined and appreciated.
